GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:

  • book or cancel appointments online
  • renew or order repeat prescriptions online
  • view parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results

You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patients have found is more convenient and saves them time. More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at www.nhs.uk/gponlineservices

Practice Based Paramedic / Emergency Care Practitioner

Prescribing or Non Prescribing 

Penryn Surgery & Trescobeas Surgery has an exciting opportunity for a practice based Paramedic/Emergency Care Practitioner to join their team.

 

Penryn Surgery serves a registered population of 20,000 patients and consists of three branch surgeries – Mawnan Smith, Stithians and Penryn Campus.  The practice teams consists of 12 Partners, 1 Salaried GP, with various teams both clinical and non-clinical supporting the running of the surgery including minor ailments, asthma, well woman clinics.

Trescobeas Surgery serves a registered population of 10,500 and consists of  2 branch surgeries –  Mylor & Flushing. The practice teams consists of 7 partners, 2 Salaried GPs, with various teams both clinical and non-clinical supporting the running of the surgery

The main purpose of the job role is to complement the existing workforce within both practices to provide an additional supporting role for both routine planned and unplanned home visit requests.

Hours are negotiable and can be discussed during the interview stage.

Salary – Band 6/7 depending on experience, skill set and prescribing ability
